Cody M. Cousins, 24, Warsaw, passed away at 9:23 p.m. Oct. 28, 2014, in Michigan City. He was born July 1, 1990, in New Orleans, La., to Ernest L. “Rusty” Cousins and Dr. Wendy Melancon, both of Warsaw. He was a former Warsaw and Lafayette resident. He was a graduate of Springboro (Ohio) High School and a Purdue University student. He will be loved and missed by his family in Louisiana including aunts, uncles, cousins and friend in Ohio and Indiana. “We will remember him for his laughter and light in the world before the darkness fell.” Survivors include his parents; a sister, Savannah Cousins, Warsaw; and a maternal grandmother, Adeline Melancon, Morgan City, La.
