Two men are in the Kosciusko County Jail after they were arrested on drug charges Friday.
Eddie Harmon, 63, South Bend, was transported from the St. Joseph County Jail Friday to Warsaw regarding a Kosciusko County warrant.
Kosciusko County Drug Task Force officers allegedly purchased cocaine from Harmon near Rarick Park in Warsaw Jan. 30.
The Kosciusko County Prosecutor’s Office has charged Harmon with one count of dealing cocaine and one count of possession of cocaine within 1,000 feet of a public park.
The second arrest involved an anonymous tip regarding a possible meth lab near Pierceton Friday at 5:02 p.m.
Kosciusko County Drug Task Force officers went to 8280 E. U.S. 30, lot 34, and met with Shawn Patrick Gatke, 36.
Gatke allowed officers inside the mobile home and they subsequently located 19 “one-pot” methamphetamine labs.
DTF officers also located Gatke’s 3-year-old son in the residence as the meth labs were “cooking.”
Gatke was arrested and preliminarily charged with dealing methamphetamine, neglect of a dependent, possession of methamphetamine and possession of precursors.
Child Protective Services was immediately contacted for the placement of the child.
Harmon is being held on a $45,000 bond, while Gatke’s bond was set at $50,000 by the Kosciusko County Prosecutor’s Office.
