Cobert L. Oldham, 68, of 551 Buck Trail, Warsaw, died at 2 p.m. Jan. 4, 2010, in his residence.
He was born April 26, 1941, in Blytheville, Ark., to Jack and Dorothy Bowers Oldham. On Dec. 22, 1965, he married Mary N. Slone, who survives.
He was a sprinkler fitter for Fire Protection and a member of New Hope Free Will Baptist Church, Warsaw, and the 669 Union. He loved to fish.
Also surviving are two sons, Cobie Oldham, Warsaw, and Chuck (and spouse Angela) Oldham, Tippecanoe; a brother, Jerry (and spouse Lynn) Oldham, Tucson, Ariz.; a sister, Kay Oldham, Marysville, Calif.; and five grandchildren: Corey, Jessica, Jacob, Makenzie and Peyton Oldham. He was preceded in death by his parents.
Services will be private with Pastor David Cripe officiating. Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery, Warsaw.
Calling is from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
