DeWain and Jeannie Cobbs, Warsaw, will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary Friday. DeWain and the former Jeannie Pollom, were married March 21, 1964, in Elkhart by Ernest Cobbs, the groom’s father. DeWaine was a math and chemistry teacher for 31 years, and retired from Warsaw Community High School in 1999. He is an accomplished runner and dedicated to his family. Jeannie is a loving and dedicated wife, mother, grandmother and homemaker. Both are active in their local church, and love to travel. The couple are the parents of three children: April (and spouse Doug) Lehman, Pierceton; Julie (and spouse Janne) Korpilahti, Karhe, Finland; Mark (and spouse Jennifer) Cobbs, Atlanta, Ga.; and eight grandchildren: Sara, Renae and Dale Lehman; Matias and Niklas Korpilahti; and Ryan, Matthew and Tyler Cobbs.
