The 2014 Coats for Kids Community Outreach Golf Outing is June 24 at Rozella Golf Course. Lunch is at 11:30 a.m. followed by tee time at 12:30 p.m. There will be a putting contest before golfing and dinner after the game, with prizes and awards. Each year there are many children that need a coat to stay warm during the cold winter months in Indiana. Since the first tournament in 1996, the event has raised over $119,669 and provided over 5,501 coats, hats and gloves for the elementary school children of Kosciusko and Fulton counties. The goal in 2014 is to raise over $10,000 to purchase coats and meet other community needs. The event is seeking sponsors to make that possible, with the following sponsorship opportunities: Event Sponsor, $500; Gold Sponsor, $325; Silver Sponsor, $250; Bronze Sponsor, $175, with different levels of publicity for each. Sponsoring companies will be featured on rules trifold given to every golfer, highlighted in pre-event and post event publicity, and in a published thank you.
