WINONA LAKE — The group met June 20 at Grace Village; Barbara Calhan was hostess.
Winners were Sondra Dicken, Judy Stewart, Maxine Harris and Helen Miller.
Singles Meeting Friends
A group of seven attended the June 20 meeting upstairs in the Martin's deli.
The group learned that three members had taken a tumble over the past week. Judy fell at a friend’s home and hit her head on a vehicle, resulting in stitches in her head and a fractured tailbone. Donna fell at her son's and sprained her arm. Irene also fell but is getting along.
Quite a lot of conversation focused on changes in the weather and storms in the forecast. Also, members were reminded of upcoming events: the North Webster Mermaid Festival parade today and Bourbon Days this weekend.
Grace Thursday Bridge
Grace Thursday Bridge met June 21 with Carol Freeman as hostess.
