The Four Seasons Ladies Bridge met Wednesday at Grace Village. Winners were Beth Huffer, Barb Calhan, Nanette Newland and Liz Frazzetta. Hostess was Dian Cartwright.
Last Monday Euchre Club
The Last Monday Euchre Club met at the Warsaw Senior Center Monday. High winner was Arlene Brooke, most lones was Mary Grubbs and low was Jane Eash. The next meeting will be 12:30 p.m. July 29 at the Warsaw Senior Center.
Wednesday Night Bridge
Wednesday Night Bridge met Wednesday. The group had a new high of seven tables with the following winners: Mike Herring, Sharon Tuttle, Dorothy Herring, Grant Magner, June Stealy, Tom Anderson, John Wagley and Jim Levandis. For July, Janet and John Wagley are hostess and host. The next meeting is on Wednesday. The group would like to share its bridge night with interested bridge players. Bridge At SPEC In North Webster
Bridge at SPEC in North Webster did not play Tuesday. Bridge at SPEC did play Thursday. Mary Prescott was first and Suze Wilt was second.
Grace Thursday Bridge
Grace Thursday Bridge met Thursday with Carol Freeman as hostess. Winners were Sharon Haltz, Bob Mayer and Marilyn Voelz.
Singles Meeting Friends
Summer arrived this week and with all the rain the heat index rising. Next week is First Friday downtown Warsaw, so be sure to mark your calendars The second friday is game night at Martin’s upstairs deli. With the music in the park every Friday night, some will attend the music and then go for game night. Some may arrive around 7 p.m., but others may not come to play until after the music is over in the park. Many skipped it last month since it was the big rock concert.
The group had just seven Wednesday night at its meeting. There has been quite a bit in the news lately regarding medical marijuana, hemp oil and CBD oils to benefit health issues. Donna brought in a full page newspaper article/ad with information on this subject.
Irene is in the hospital so the group wants to wish her well for a speedy recovery. Linda M. is undergoing the infamous "knee replacement" surgery Thursday and the group also wishes her a speedy recovery. Many of the group know too well what is ahead for her with trips to rehab.
Join the group every week around 7 p.m. at the upstairs deli in Martin’s Supermarket, Warsaw. Get out of the house and share fellowship with other friends instead of sitting home alone.
