Marsh Supermarket, closed since May 2017, was one of five businesses to renew its liquor license at the Kosciusko County Alcohol and Tobacco Commission meeting Thursday.
The former Marsh building at 500 S. Buffalo St., Warsaw, remains vacant.
Excise officer and board member April Tackett said the license can be renewed for up to five years and is transferable.
Other licenses renewed were for Pak-A-Sak, 2124 Ind. 13, Pierceton; Lakeview Liquors, 103 E. Main St., Silver Lake; Turf Bar, 118 S. Main St., Milford; and Light Rail coffee, 1000 Park Ave., Winona Lake.
There were no remonstrators at the meeting, which lasted less than five minutes.
The commission’s next meeting will be at 1 p.m. Dec. 6 in the commissioners room of the courthouse, 121 N. Lake St.
