COLUMBIA CITY – Clint Robert Collier, 31, of Larwill, passed away at 6:55 a.m. July 24, 2012, in St. Joseph Medical Center, Fort Wayne.
A lifetime Whitley County resident, he was born Aug. 19, 1980, in Columbia City, to Robert Lee Collier and Tonya Smith McKay.
Surviving are his mother, Tonya Smith McKay, Syracuse; a daughter, Sierra Nicole Collier, Syracuse; a sister, Bobbi Jo Collier, Pierceton; grandparents, Roy and Mildred Collier, Larwill, and William and Nancy Smith, Big Lake; aunts: Brenda Duty, Pierceton; Karen Brandel, Columbia City; Tammy Parkison, Crown Point; Deb Zickafoose, Big Lake; Vicky Tallent, Maryville, Tenn.; and DeLaina Cole, Kendallville; uncles, Glen Collier and Doug Smith, both of Columbia City, and Dave Lotter, Churubusco; nieces, Kaylea and Kelsea Fletcher and Khloe and Xavien Hinojosa; and fiance, Amber Elston, Bluffton. He was preceded in death by his father, Robert Lee Collier; an aunt, Deborah Ivy; and an uncle, Timothy Wagner.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Friday at Clover Lick Freewill Baptist Church with Pastor Don McKnight officiating. Burial will be in Halcomb Cemetery, Uivah, Ky.
Calling is from 2 to 6 p.m. Thursday at DeMoney-Grimes Countryside Park Funeral Home, 600 Countryside Drive, Columbia City. ***** Memorial may be given to the National Kidney Foundation.
