BOURBON – Clifford E. Scarberry, 70, Bourbon, passed away at 4:28 p.m. Oct. 28, 2014, in Lutheran Hospital, Fort Wayne. He was born Oct. 15, 1944, in Jackson, Ohio, to A.J. and Avis Hill Scarberry. He had been a resident of Bourbon since 1962. He retired in 2008 from Burht Engineering, Warsaw, as a welder. He enjoyed car racing and horses. He is survived by two sons, Todd (and spouse Melissa) Scarberry, North Manchester, and Samuel (and spouse Leveda) Bird, Bourbon; a daughter, Deanna (and spouse Bernie) Rucker, Lexington, Ky.; eight grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; a sister, Martha Long, Warsaw; and three brothers: James (and spouse Becky) Scarberry, Bourbon; David (and spouse Janice) Scarberry, Skyline, Ala.; and Raymond (and spouse Pat) Scarberry, Nappanee.
