MENTONE – Clayton E. Craddock, 69, of 619 Martin Lakes Drive E., Jacksonville, Fla., died at 7:15 p.m. Dec. 15, 2011, in Northeast Florida Community Hospice – Acosta Rua Center of Jacksonville, Fla.
He was born Oct. 31, 1942, in Lake, W.Va., to Obie T. Craddock and Claudia Mann. On Feb. 28, 1964, in Palestine, he married Sandra E. Lackey, who survives.
He owned Craddock Air Conditioning, Zephyrhills, Fla., where he was a heating and cooling technician. He was a member of First Baptist Church, Zephyrhills, and enjoyed hunting.
Also surviving are a daughter, Rhonda (and spouse Bill) Yates, Jacksonville; three grandchildren, William Cody, Sierra and Jackson Yates; a brother, Laron (and spouse Carolyn) Craddock, Warsaw; and two sisters, Carol Sue (and spouse Roy) Smith, Lake Wales, Fla., and Betty Campbell, Leesburg. He was preceded in death by an infant daughter, Brenda; a brother, Obie T. Craddock Jr.; and an infant sister, Virginia.
Services will be at 3 p.m. Thursday at King Memorial Home, 101 N. Tucker St., Mentone, with the Rev. Norman McVey officiating. Burial will be in Palestine Cemetery.
