Claypool Woman Hurt In CrashA Tuesday evening accident resulted in multiple injuries to a Claypool woman.
Elizabeth I. Kennedy, 51, of 8601 CR 600W, Claypool, was northbound on Ind. 15 near CR 350S at approximately 6:36 p.m. Tuesday when she lost control of her vehicle.
It veered off the roadway, hit a road sign, then continued into a drainage ditch where it overturned.
Kennedy’s vehicle, a 2003 H2 Hummer, sustained damage estimated between $10,000–$25,000.
Kennedy told responding officers that she had been drinking earlier. 
She suffered some minor bleeding and injuries to her arm. She was transported to Parkview Hospital in Fort Wayne by Samaritan Helicopter. 
As of this morning, she is listed in fair condition by the hospital.
A toxicology report will not be available for about two weeks and no charges have been filed in the incident. 
The Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department was assisted at the scene by the Indiana State Police, The Multi–Township EMS and Samaritan Helicopter.
