One person is dead and another is in stable condition following a two-car accident at the intersection of Ind. 15 and CR 300S Thursday evening.
Edna J. Morgan, 48, of Claypool, was pronounced dead by the Kosciusko County coroner at the scene of the accident where her car hit a pickup head-on.
The driver of the pickup, Timothy L. Bradford, 47, of Silver Lake, suffered internal injuries and several cuts in the crash. He was airlifted from the scene to Parkview Hospital, Fort Wayne, where he was listed in stable condition this morning.
Around 7:19 p.m. Thursday, Morgan's northbound car was left of center when she hit Bradford's southbound pickup truck.
Shortly before the accident, a person who was following Morgan's car called 911 to report the vehicle was driving left of center into oncoming traffic.
The accident remains under investigation.
The Kosciusko County Sheriff's Office was assisted at the scene by the Warsaw Police Department, Warsaw Fire Department, Multi-Township EMS and Samaritan Air Ambulance.
