CLAYPOOL - At Tuesday night's meeting Claypool Clerk-Treasurer Patricia Warner and council members Gene Warner and Benny Stage Jr. were sworn in by town attorney Andrew Grossnickle.
Council approved several ordinances including 2024 holidays, salary schedule for town employees and a statewide uniform deadly force policy for the police department.
Also approved were agreements with the Kosciusko Economic Development Corporation, Baker Tilly and the interlocal terminal services with Kosciusko County.
The retainer with Baker Tilly is $1,700 per month with 89 alloted hours and the interlocal agreement is $555 per year.
Town Marshal Paul Mullins, Stage and Warner thanked Council member Liz Heiman for her years of service to the town.
Heiman reminded the public of KABS public transportation for those in need of rides to medical services and other errands outside of town.
Council will next meet at 7 p.m. Jan. 16.
