Emily Lynch (L) was crowned the spelling bee champion in the fifth- and sixth-grade competition for 2011 at Claypool Elementary. She is the daughter of Jon and Sharon Lynch. She competed in the Kosciusko County Spelling Feb. 8. Alternate for Claypool Elementary was Abria Federico, daughter of Sam Federico and Tammy Bradley. Abria is a fifth-grade student.
