ORDINANCE NO. 2014-04-01 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 09-12-01 PROVIDING FOR TRASH PICKUP (SANITATION) SERVICES AND THE RATES THEREOF WHEREAS, the Town of Claypool, Indiana, has previously enacted Ordinance No. 09-12-01 providing for Trash Pickup (Sanitation) Services on December 21, 2009; and WHEREAS, the Town contract for waste collection with Advanced Disposal Services of Claypool will terminate at the end of 2014; and WHEREAS, the Town of Claypool intends to renew said contract and that such will result in rate changes to its customers. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE TOWN BOARD OF THE TOWN OF CLAYPOOL, INDIANA: Section 1. That Section 3 of Ordinance No. 09-12-01 be amended to read as follows: Section 3. That the monthly rate for trash pickup (sanitation) services provided to the Town and its residents shall be $9.00 per month for each household/residence who receive services for the year of 20 IS, $9.27 for the year 2016, and $9.55 for the year 2017. Further, that residences who elect to utilize dumpsters for their trash (sanitation) pickup services shall be charged $40.00 per month for a two (2) yard, one time a week pickup dumpster; $60.00 per month for a four (4) yard, one time a week pickup dumpster; $80.00 per month for a six (6) yard, one time a week pickup dumpster, and $95.00 per month for an eight (8) yard, one time a week pick up dumpster. Such rates for dumpsters shall remain unchanged beginning in 2015 through 2017. Section 2. That all other parts of Ordinance No. 09-12-01 shall remain unchanged and in full force and effect.
