ORDINANCE NO. 2011-6-1 AN ORDINANCE PROVIDING FOR FINES FOR THE VIOLATION OF ORDINANCE NO. 2001-5-1 WHEREAS, the Town Council of the Town of Claypool has heretofore adopted Ordinance No. 2001-5-1, An Ordinance Regulating Parking on Church Street; and WHEREAS, Ordinance No. 2001-5-1 has no penalty provisions and the Town Council of the Town of Claypool has determined that it would be prudent and in the best interests of the citizens of the Town and the public in general to provide appropriate fines for the violations of Ordinance No. 2001-5-1. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Town Council of the Town of Claypool, Kosciusko County, Indiana as follows: Article 1. That for the first violation of Ordinance No. 2001-5-1 the offending party will be fined Ten Dollars ($10.00). For the second violation of Ordinance No. 2001-5-1 for offending party will be fined Twenty Dollars ($20.00). For the third any subsequent violation of Ordinance No. 2001-5-1 the offending party will be fined Thirty Dollars ($30.00). Article 2. In addition to the fines provided in Article 1 hereof, a late fee of One Dollar ($1.00) per day will be assessed if the fine is not paid five days or less after the date of the violation. The total addition penalty due hereunder shall not exceed Fifteen Dollars ($15.00). Article 3. This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage in due publication according to law.
