CLAYPOOL - ORDINANCE

AN ORDINANCE ESTABLISHING ONE WAY STREETS AND ALLEYS IN THE  TOWN OF CLAYPOOL, INDIANA
    WHEREAS, the Town of Claypool can enact ordinances regarding the streets and alleys within the limits of the Town; and
    WHEREAS, the alley running between Section Street and Walnut Street between the address of 103 East Section Street, 105 East Section Street, 104 East Walnut Street, and 106 East Walnut Street as within the Town limits; and
    WHEREAS, the Town of Claypool  has determined that said alley way should be a one way; and
    WHEREAS, changing such alley way to one street will promote public safety and improvement of traffic flow in the Town of Claypool.
    NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE  TOWN BOARD OF THE  TOWN OF CLAYPOOL, KOSCIUSKO COUNTY, INDIANA  AS FOLLOWS:
    Section 1.  That the alley running between Section Street and Walnut Street, hereafter be a one way remaining one way in a South North direction between 103 East Section Street, 105  East Section Street,  104
East Walnut Street, and 106 East Walnut Street, with entry into said alley from Section Street and exiting onto Walnut Street.
    Section  2. That the Street Department  prepare and install sufficient  and adequate  signage as may be prescribed  by State law and/or regulation.
    Section  3. That this Ordinance  shall be effective  upon passage and published  if required.
    Section  4.  Whereas,  the Town  has the inherent  power to regulate  its street and alleys, this Ordinance shall further confirm that authority and that should any further determination  of one way streets be necessary, that such, hereinafter,  shall be done upon passage, resolution, or motion of the Town Board and compliance with any state laws or regulations  in effect at that time.
    ORDAINED AND PASSED this 21st day of April, 2014.
