Claypool Hears Request To Uprgrade Alleys

Posted

CLAYPOOL - A request to upgrade alleys running south and east of the Full Gospel Tabernacle was approved Monday night as proposed by church representative Dave Prater.

The alleys are not in constant use and the religious organization plans to increase the parking area with the alleys being a convenient access route into the lots.

Board members Don Miller, Nikki Lincoln and Duane Allen set trick-or-treat hours as Oct. 30 from 6 to 7:30 p.m.

The board approved a stop sign ordinance in the New Beginnings housing subdivision. The north- and south-running streets, Rebecca and Lindsey, will have stops at CR 700S.

The street department will pick up residents' leaves if they are left bagged at the curb. Pick-up will occur Monday through Wednesday and Fridays (every day excepting Thursday, which is the trash pick-up day).

Purchase of a new computer for the clerk was approved, replacing the one currently in use, which is a decade old.

The next town council meeting will be at 7 p.m. Nov. 15 in the fire station meeting room.
