Firefighters quickly knocked down this morning’s shed fire on the east side of Ind. 15, near CR 900S.
Claypool Fire Department got the initial call, with Warsaw Fire Department called to assist around 9:30 a.m. Silver Lake Fire Department also assisted.
According to WFD Public Information Officer Max Kinsey, it was a 16-foot by 10-foot shed, typical of an animal shelter, with tools inside.
Hay bales sat on the outside. No animals were inside the shed at the time of the fire and none were hurt. The shed was a total loss, he said. No further information was available at press time this morning.
