Continuously serving Kosciusko County since 1854
CLAYPOOL - Niki Miller has resigned her position as town council member. She was appointed as clerk-treasurer earlier this month, replacing Deloris Rose, who resigned Oct. 11. Rose was a Democrat.
County Republican Party Chairman Mike Gavin will appoint Miller's replacement on the town board. Declaration of candidacy forms, available at the county clerk's office, should be sent to Gavin, 85 S. Hunter's Ridge, Warsaw, IN 46582, by Nov. 8. Gavin said each candidate must be a member of the Republican Party and a Claypool resident. There are three years left on Miller's term of office.
