CLAYPOOL - Due to the overwhelming support and encouragement of teachers, families, the community and guests, the Claypool PTO announced it has rescheduled its banquet.
The "Knight To Remember" banquet will be from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. April 14 in the Claypool Elementary School gymnasium.
The banquet was previously cancelled because of inclement weather.

RSVP by March 25.
Our Father's House will still be doing the catering for the banquet. The Claypool and Silver Lake Lions Clubs are sponsoring the catering.
The banquet is a kickoff for the "Balloon Launch" fundraiser to benefit the Claypool students.
The launch will be May 6 from 12:30 to 3 p.m. The mass release of helium balloons is intended to symbolize the unity of the communities.
Balloon sponsorships are available.
The purpose of the various colored balloons represent the school colors of Silver Lake and Claypool schools. Claypool School now represents the southern half of the county in the school district.Balloons will be tracked by finder responses on a map within the school.
Checks should be made payable to "Claypool PTO" and mailed to the school at: Claypool Elementary School, 2024 W. 700S, Claypool, IN 46510.
Berkey and Rice thanked everyone for their support and hope the new date will accommodate some of the guests that were unable to attend due to weather or other commitments.
