CLAYPOOL - The Claypool Town Council approved a fire protection agreement and an insurance contract for 2022 at Tuesday night's meeting.
Nothing has changed with the fire protection agreement, which remains $10,000 for this year. The Wetzel Insurance contract covers all town insurances for $18,631 at an increase of $100 from last year.
In old business, the town did not receive an Indiana Office of Community and Rural Affairs grant to which the town applied. Councilwoman Liz Heiman said she will look into more grant opportunities for the proposed sewer project.
