GOSHEN - Claudia Ann Pippenger, 60, of 46 EMS, T6A Lane, Leesburg, died at 5:43 a.m. Feb. 20, 2010, in Lutheran Hospital, Fort Wayne, after three days in the hospital due to lung cancer.
She was born July 14, 1949, in Goshen, to Alvin and Doris Mitchell Yoder. On March 22, 1974, in Goshen, she married Richard A. Pippenger Sr., who survives.
She attended Goshen High School and graduated from Fort Wayne Southside. She lived in Leesburg for three years.
Surviving are three children, Matthew Pippenger and Penny (and spouse John) Foster, all of Indianapolis, and Richard Jr. (and spouse Amy) Pippenger, Glenwood, Md.; seven grandchildren; two brothers, Bruce (and spouse Nancy) Yoder, Goshen, and Kim Yoder, Elkhart; a half sister, Pam Nelson, Detroit, Mich.; a stepsister, Kris (and spouse John) Delcamp, Goshen; and a stepbrother, Ron Nelson, Mishawaka.
Services will be at 4 p.m. Tuesday at Yoder-Culp Funeral Home, Goshen, with Bruce Yoder officiating. There will be cremation.
Calling is from noon to 3:30 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
