Claude Jay JohnsonClaude Jay Johnson, 83, Warsaw, died at 8 a.m. Wednesday, April 20, 2022, at Parkview Hospital Randallia, Hospice Center, Fort Wayne.
Claude was born July 11, 1938, in Danville, Ill.
He enlisted in the United States Army and served until his honorable discharge in 1958 and continued to serve in the Army Reserves for a few years after.
He married Alice R. Atchison on Feb. 14, 1961; she died March 4, 2015.
Friends and family may visit on Monday, April 25 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. at God’s Highway to Heaven Church, Warsaw.
Claude’s life will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Tuesday, April 26 at God’s Highway to Heaven Church and officiated by Pastor Bob Brown. He will be laid to rest at a later date at Oakwood Cemetery, Warsaw. Arrangements were entrusted to Redpath-Fruth Funeral Home, Warsaw.
