Clarence Nickols, 80, Warsaw, and formerly of Indianapolis, passed away at 1:45 p.m. April 7, 2014, in Warsaw Meadows Care Center. He was born Dec. 3, 1933, in Bowling Green, Ky. He married Delores Thompson, who preceded him in death in 1965. He was a Vietnam veteran. He worked in a steel factory making galvanized steel and also for Colonial Bread Bakery, both in Indianapolis. He attended Bethany Fellowship in Warsaw. Surviving are three sons: Anthony “Tony” Thompson and Darrell Thompson (and companion Ivee Hobbs), all of Warsaw; and Clarence Thompson, Oklahoma City, Okla.; one sister, Nedra Marie Thompson, St. Augustine, Fla.; and 12 grandchildren. Services will be at 1 p.m. Monday at McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel, Warsaw, with the elders from Bethany Fellowship officiating. Burial is in Oakwood Cemetery, Warsaw.
