NEW CARLISLE - Clara Marie Neumann, 87, of Warsaw, passed away peacefully on May 21, 2009.
She was born Dec. 10, 1921, in Mississippi, to Bennie and Gertrude White. She married Ralph Neumann, who preceded her in death.
She was a longtime resident of Hudson Lake, coming from Mississippi. She was a caring wife and mother and a good true friend to many. The family is especially grateful to Miller's Merry Manor, Warsaw, for her care in the last days of her life.
Surviving are her sons, Jeff (and spouse Michele), Warsaw, and Steve (and spouse Megan), Rochester, N.Y.; and loving grandchildren, Sarah and Keith; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by two brothers, Grady and Thomas White, and a sister Jewell Palmer.
A memorial service will be at 10 a.m. (EST) Tuesday at Kaniewski Funeral Home, 201 S. Filbert St. New Carlisle. Burial will be in St. John Kanty Cemetery, Rolling Prairie.
