Clara M. Felke, 96, died at 10:37 p.m. July 16, 2008, at Hickory Creek of Rochester.
She was born Aug. 17, 1911, in South Bend, to John and Mary Pendl Wozniak. On June 1, 1949, in Plymouth, she married Paul Felke, who preceded her in death September 2000.
She and her husband moved to Rochester in 1946 after purchasing the Rochester Greenhouse. After 51 years in business, they retired in 1997. She was a member of the Moose Lodge, Rekamemoh Club, St. Joseph's Catholic Church and Rosary Society and the Canasta Club.
Surviving are three children, Jim (and spouse Kathy) Felke, Paulette (and spouse Rick) Felke Couse and Patricia Felke; seven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by an adopted brother.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Monday at St. Michael's Catholic Church, Plymouth. Burial will be at Oak Hill Cemetery, Plymouth.
Calling is from 3 to 7 p.m. Sunday at Zimmerman Bros. Funeral Home, Rochester.
