City Seeks Input On Comprehensive Plan

Posted
The City of Warsaw is completing one public planning activity and starting another and is seeking the community’s input.
Already this summer, the city and Ball State University partnered for “Imagine Warsaw!” This workshop gathered input from more than 200 community members and included visions for the future of specific areas in Warsaw.
The Ball State team is coming to Warsaw Community High School  July 18 at 7 p.m. to make its final presentation.
Using the BSU workshop as a springboard, Warsaw is preparing a new comprehensive plan and is seeking residents’ input.
People can fill out the on-line survey, attend a public workshop, or both.
To participate in the on-line survey, go to the city’s website at www.warsaw.org or www.surveymonkey/warsawplanning.com (the survey will take approximately 10 minutes to fill out).
To participate in a public workshop, attend one of these two opportunities at City Hall, 102 S. Buffalo St; July 25 from 5:30 to 7 p.m. or July 26 from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m.
The purpose of the on-line survey and public workshops is to help the city identify strengths, weaknesses, needs, and community values relating to the future of the community.
Topics include future growth and redevelopment, transportation, economic development, natural environment, parks and recreation, public services, housing, community image, and other aspects that relate to quality of life in the community.
