If an injunction is approved by the Kosciusko Circuit Court, a local massage parlor will be closed permanently.

Friday, the city of Warsaw filed a request for a permanent injunction against Dating Dynamics and Massage Inc. and Jenetta Fairchild.

According to documents filed in Kosciusko Circuit Court, during a June 2 inspection, Dating Dynamics and Massage Inc. and Fairchild were found to be in violation of the city's ordinance regulating massage establishments.

After the inspection, a letter was sent to Fairchild and the business informing them of the violation and telling them they could request a hearing in writing within 10 days. No hearing was requested, and on July 7, Fairchild and the business were notified that they were operating on a revoked permit. Since the business is still open, the city requested the injunction to stop its operation.

"The continuous, flagrant violation of the Plaintiff's Ordinance can now only be stopped by injunctive relief," the document states. "An injunction is necessary to stop and prohibit further violations by the defendants (Fairchild and Dating Dynamics and Massage Inc.)."

In addition to the injunction, the city requests that the court assess fines to Fairchild and the business. "In addition to the injunctive relief sought, the plaintiff is entitled to recover fines in the amounts ranging from $200 per violation per day to $2,500 per violation per day for the days during which massage services were performed while the permit was revoked," the document states.
