Reconstruction of Husky Trail is slated for 2015, Warsaw City Council heard Monday night. Warsaw Mayor Joe Thallemer provided an update on the project that will include reconstruction of Husky Trail from Mariner Drive at Martin’s Supermarket south of CR 100N. The work will include new curbs, sidewalks, bike trails and lighting. Thallemer said the city has received 11 proposals from engineering companies and it will select the top three companies and narrow it to one. He said the city is currently in the bidding process for the engineering portion of the project. There also still needs to be right of way acquisition that could take up to a year, Thallemer said.
