ORDINANCE NUMBER 2008-07-01 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE TRAFFIC CONTROL ORDINANCE WHEREAS, Warsaw City Code Sec. 74-33(a)(1) places the duty of developing and implementing coordinated traffic safety programs which meet local needs upon the Warsaw Traffic Safety Commission; and, WHEREAS, the Warsaw Traffic Safety Commission has recommended to the Common Council of the City of Warsaw certain actions that will result in overall reduction of traffic accidents on city streets; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COMMON COUNCIL OF of the City of Warsaw, Indiana, that Chapter 74 of the Warsaw City Code, entitled "Traffic" and Vehicles' shall be amended to read as follows. ARTICLE V PARKING, STOPPING AND STANDING SECTION 7-211, No Parking Zones Item 182 shall be added to read as follows: (182) on both sides of Logan Street between Eagle Street and Rozella Road. SECTION 74-213, Parking Restricted From 8:00 am to 5:00 pm Item (a) shall be amended to add: High Street, either side, from Market Street north to the first intersecting east west alley. Section 2. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from the date of passage. Any parts of the Warsaw Traffic Control Ordinance which are in conflict with this ordinance are hereby suspended by this ordinance.
