CITY OF WARSAW - SALARY ORDINANCE

NOTICE TO TAXPAYERS CORRECTION Notice is hereby given to the taxpayers of the City of Warsaw, Kosciusko County, Indiana, that the proper legal officers of the City of Warsaw, at their regular meeting place at 302 E Market Street in the Council Chambers, at City Hall, at 7:00 o'clock P.M., on the 17th day of November, 2008, will consider the following Elected Official Salary Ordinance for year 2009. ORDINANCE NO. 2008-11-01 AN ORDINANCE ESTABLISHING THE SALARIES OF ELECTED OFFICIALS FOR THE Y EAR 2009 FOR THE CITY OF WARSAW. Section 1. The compensation for the following elected officials shall be: 2009 Salary Levels Mayor 60,516 per Annum 30,258 Sewage Operating Fund 30,256 General Fund Clerk-Treasurer 51,482 per Annum 25,741 Sewage Operating Fund 25,741 General Fund Members of The Common Council 5,170 per Annum 2,585 Sewage Fund 2,585 General Fund Section 2. Insurance Benefits: All full-time employees and elected Officials of the City of Warsaw shall be provided health insurance and dental insurance at a cost of fifty-two fifty ($52.50) per month for family and twenty-five fifty dollars ($25.50) per month for single coverage. All full-time employees and elected officials of the City of Warsaw shall be provided health insurance of a cost of ($35.00) for family coverage and Fifteen ($15.00) per month for single coverage that does not include Dental coverage. All full-time employees and Elected Officials of the city shall be provided dental insurance at a cost of Seventeen Fifty ($17.50) per month for family coverage and ten Fifty ($10.50) per month for single coverage that does not include health insurance. Section 3. Take-home Vehicles: Take-Home vehicles owned/leased by the City are authorized to certain City employees as determined by the Mayor and approved by the Board of Public Works and Safety. The taxable fringe benefit for the personal use of such vehicle is determined in accordance with current Internal Revenue Service regulations. The taxable fringe benefit calculation is in addition to the maximum compensation levels as established by this ordinance. Section 4. Other/Fringe: All other paid leave benefits are set-forth in the personnel policy handbook. (i.e. sick leave, vacation, etc.) Article I: All other ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict with this ordinance are herewith repealed upon the effective date of this ordinance. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after January 1, 2009 and from and after its publication as provided by law. Article II: Board Members: Section 1.
