The city of Warsaw has retained landscape architecture firm Anderson Bolander to design a festival street in the 100 block of North Buffalo Street in downtown Warsaw.
Anderson Bolander will be conducting focus group meetings with downtown stakeholders on Wednesday, March 18 to present initial design concepts of the proposed festival street and obtain feedback. A public open house will also be conducted from 5-6 p.m. on Wednesday following these group meetings.
The open house will take place at the Kosciusko Chamber of Commerce, 523 S. Buffalo St., Warsaw.
These meetings and public house will facilitate creating a final design that addresses any concerns and reflects what downtown stakeholders and the community would like to see.
Creating a festival street was one of the most requested public investments that came out of the Downtown Warsaw Cultural District Arts Plan, which was released in November 2025. The design work by Anderson Bolander is the first step in creating the infrastructure project and will develop the design and construction estimates enabling the city of Warsaw to pursue funding.
