ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS CITY OF WARSAW, INDIANA WASTEWATER TREATMENT PLANT NO.1 DEMOLITION CONTRACT 21 Sealed Bids for Wastewater Treatment Plant No.1 Demolition, Contract No. 21, will be received by the Clerk Treasurer at City Hall, 102 South Buffalo Street, until 10:30 am, local time, August 16, 2013 at which time they will be publicly opened and read. In general, the work consists of demolition of Wastewater Treatment Plant No. 1 located on Center Street in Warsaw) Indiana. A Pre-Bid meeting will be held on the project site at 794 W. Center St. on August 1, 2013 at 2:00 pm, attendance is not mandatory. Copies of the Bidding Documents may be examined at the Utility Manager's office, or at the office of Jones & Henry Engineers, Ltd., 2420 North Coliseum Boulevard, Suite 214, Fort Wayne, Indiana 46805 without charge. Bids must be submitted on the forms bound herein, must contain the names of every person Or company interested therein. and shall be accompanied by a Bid Bond in the amount of 10% of the amount bid with satisfactory corporate surety or by a certified check on a solvent bank in the amount of not less than 10% of the amount of the Bid, subject to Form 96 conditions provided in the Instructions to Bidders. The successful bidder will be required to furnish satisfactory Performance and Payment Bonds in the amount of 100% of the Bid. The Contractor shall be required to pay not less than the prevailing wage rates established by the State of Indiana. The successful Contractor will be required to enroll in and verify the work eligibility status of all employees hired after the date of this Contract through the E-Verify program. The Contractor will also be required to sign an affidavit concerning employment of unauthorized aliens. A copy of the affidavit is included in the Bid Documents. Any Bid may be withdrawn prior to the scheduled closing time for receipt of Bids, but no bidder shall withdraw his Bid within 90 days after the actual opening thereof. T he Owner reserves the right to reject any or all Bids, waive irregularities in any Bid, and to accept any Bid which is deemed most favorable to the Owner.
