ORDINANCE NO. 2008-07-04 AN ORDINANCE REVISING FEES FOR CITY CEMETERY FOR THE CITY OF WARSAW IT IS HEREBY ORDAINED BY THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WARSAW, INDIANA that Section 54-1. of Article 1 of Chapter 54 of the City Code of Warsaw, Indiana be revised as follows: Article I Sec. 54-1 City Cemetery Fees The common council of the city ordains that the cemetery shall charge according to the following schedule: Resident Non-Resident Lots 300.00 400.00 Babyland Lot 50.00 60.00 Garden of Angels 60.00 70.00 Disinterment 325.00 350.00 Reiterment 325.00 350.00 Disinterment-Baby 75.00 90.00 Reiterment-Baby 75.00 90.00 Welfare 200.00 200.00 Cremains 85.00 100.00Burials after 2:30 pm Mon-Sat 125.00 125.00 Saturday - Extra Charge 125.00 125.00 Burials - Baby after 2:30 Mon-Fri 30.00 30.00 Saturday - Baby - Extra Charge 30.00 30.00 Grave Opening 300.00 300.00 Columbarium 550.00 650.00 Foundations, per sq. in. .035 0.35 Lots in Cremation Garden - 2 Burials 145.00 160.00 Lots in Cremation Garden - 3 Burials 170.00 190.00 Lots in Cremation Garden - 4 or More Burials 195.00 225.00 There will be no charge for a grave opening in Babyland or Garden of Angels. There will be no charge for foundations anywhere in the cemetery for children two (2) years of age or under. Any non-resident who owns property within the city limits is considered a resident for the purpose of determining fees according to this schedule. There will be a charge of $25.00 per hour for miscellaneous requested work, with a $25.00 minimum charge per project. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect on September 1, 2008.
