CITY OF WARSAW - COMBINED SEWER OVERFLOW

    The City of Warsaw has one Combined Sewer Overflow (CSO) Outfall which discharges a combination of storm water and wastewater during heavy rain or snow melt events into Walnut Creek. The water from this discharge can contain high levels of pollutants and bacteria. This discharge can affect the quality of water in Walnut Creek from Center Street to the Tippecanoe River during the storm event and up to 24 hours following the event. The City will annually develop a list of people and organizations who want to be notified when the Combined Sewer Overflow discharges into Walnut Creek. Any person or organization wanting to be notified should call 372-9562 and ask to have their name, address, phone  number, and e-mail address added to the CSO notification list.
