NOTICE TO TAXPAYERS OF DECISION TO ISSUE BONDS IN EXCESS OF FIVE THOUSAND DOLLARS The taxpayers of the City of Warsaw, Indiana (the "City"), are notified that the Common Council of the City did, on the 15th day of September, 2014, adopt a Resolution preliminarily determining to issue bonds of the City in an aggregate principal amount not to exceed One Million Two Hundred Thousand and 00/100 Dollars ($1,200,000.00) (the "Bonds") for the purpose of procuring funds to be applied to the costs associated with the acquisition of all or any or any part of the following: the acquisition of certain street department vehicles including, without limitation, four (4) pickup trucks, a plow truck, a garbage truck, a bobcat loader, a skid loader and various mowing equipment and certain public safety vehicles including, without limitation, police vehicles (collectively, the "Project"), together with all expenses necessarily incurred in connection with the proceedings relating thereto and all expenses incurred in connection with or on account of the issuance of the Bonds therefor, including without limitation all preliminary expenses such as the cost of publication of notices, preparation of the Bonds, and other expenses necessary to letting all necessary contracts and selling the Bonds, together with expenses incurred in connection with the issuance of the Bonds. The Bonds are to bear interest at the rate or rates not exceeding five percent (5%) per annum (the exact rate or rates to be determined by bidding), and are to mature semiannually in various amounts over a period of not to exceed three (3) years from the date of issuance of the Bonds.
