NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING BY THE CITY OF WARSAW, INDIANA, REDEVELOPMENT COMMISSION REGARDING AMENDMENT OF THE
WARSAW CENTRAL DEVELOPMENT AREA FOR THE PURPOSE OF DESIGNATING AND DECLARING CERTAIN AREAS AS REDEVELOPMENT AREAS AND TO ESTABLISH NEW ALLOCATION AREAS THEREIN
Notice is hereby given that the City of Warsaw, Indiana, Redevelopment Commission (the “Commission”) will conduct a public hearing at its regular monthly meeting on August 7, 2023, at 4:00 p.m. (local time) in the Common Council Chambers at City Hall, 102 S. Buffalo Street, Warsaw, Indiana, 46580 to consider proposed amendments to the Declaratory Resolution, as previously amended (the “Declaratory Resolution”), and the Redevelopment Plan (the “Plan”) previously approved by the Commission in connection with the Warsaw Central Development Area and related Allocation Area. The proposed amendments, which have been preliminarily approved pursuant to a resolution adopted by the Commission on June 5, 2023 (the “Resolution”), would amend the Declaratory Resolution and the Plan to expand the boundaries of the Warsaw Central Development Area to include (i) an additional area, described at Exhibit A to the Resolution, and to designate such area as a separate allocation area pursuant to Section 39 of the Act to be known as the “2023 Owens Expansion Allocation Area,” and (ii) an additional area, described at Exhibit B to the Resolution, and to designate such area as a separate allocation area pursuant to Section 39 of the Act to be known as the “2023 Marsh Expansion Allocation Area” (collectively, the “Amendments”).
Written remonstrances to the Resolution and the actions provided for therein must be filed with the Commission at the office of the City Planner, 102 S. Buffalo Street, Warsaw, Indiana, 46580 by 2:00 p.m. (local time) on Monday, August 7, 2023.
At the public hearing, the Commission will hear any person interested in the proceedings and will consider all written remonstrances and objections that have been filed and will determine the public utility and benefit of the proposed Amendments. The Resolution can be inspected at the office of the City Planner, 102 S. Buffalo Street, Warsaw, IN 46580.
