NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
CITY OF NAPPANEE PLAN COMMISSION
The City of Nappanee Plan Commission will hold a Public Hearing on November 14, 2024, at 7:00 pm in the Council Chambers at the Nappanee City Municipal Center, 300 W. Lincoln Street, Nappanee, Indiana.
The purpose of the Public Hearing is to hear Petition #06-24-PLN to Replat and Rezone property by Brian Burkholder of Cornerstone Acres. The petitioner is seeking to subdivide the existing parcel into two separate parcels. Parcel 1, containing an industrial building, shall remain I1-Industrial zoning. Parcel 2, containing two residential houses, shall be rezoned B1-Limited Business with a Special Exception for single family homes. The property is located at the 72355 CR 3 in Nappanee, Indiana.
LEGAL DESCRIPTION OF PROPERTY:
Lot Numbered 5 in Amish Acres Auction Subdivision recorded in Document Number 2020-07912 in the Office of the Recorder of Elkhart County, Indiana.
A copy of such proposal is on file in the office of the City Planner of the City of Nappanee, 215 W. Market St., Nappanee, IN 46550. Written objections that are filed with the office of the City Planner of the City of Nappanee, or emailed at tnunemaker@nappanee.in.gov, before the hearing will be considered.
All concerned citizens will be offered the right to speak and voice their comment at the Public Hearing. The Public Hearing may be continued from time to time as may be found necessary.
