Warsaw City Council at its meeting tonight will review requests for annexation and for a continued tax abatement.
Petitioners James and Nancy Miner are requesting property north of Symmetry Medical on Ind. 15N be annexed. The land currently is zoned for agricultural uses, and the petitioners are requesting the land be zoned residential to build a new home.
The council also will review a request from Spartech Plastics, 3454 N. Detroit St., for a continued tax abatement.
Spartech currently is in its third year of their 10- and 6-year abatements, and have hired four new employees and made equipment and machinery investments.
