The Public Works Department of the city of Warsaw, along with Borden Waste Away Services/Integra and Waste Management are offering expanded services to the residents of Warsaw in celebration of Earth Week Monday through April 23.
The expanded services include loose leaf pickup. Large piles of leaves can be raked to the curb or alley and will be picked up on your regular trash day and need to be out by 7 a.m. Sticks or other trash are not to be put into the leaf piles, and small piles will need to be bagged or boxed.
Waste Management has offered to place four 30-yard containers at their local transfer station. Residents (IDs will be checked to verify addresses) can drop off items at no charge. Truck loads from rental property clean outs are not allowed. Waste Management will donate the dumping fees. The service is free of charge. The transfer station is located at 2352 N. Boeing Road.
Borden Waste Away/Integra Shredding will host a community shred drive day from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday at 794 W. Center St at the Public Works Department. City employees will load your papers in totes, and Integra will shred the documents on the spot.
Paper lawn and leaf bags will be available for city residents to pick up at the Public Works Department in bundles of five from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through April 23.
