How many times has the public been asked to shop locally, even though the big box stores came to Warsaw and the downtown stores disappeared. Now only banks, lawyers, custom stores and empty storefronts are downtown.
Then the internet came along (Amazon) and the big box stores are having problems (Sears).
After reading about our new fire station, the city of Warsaw decided that the companies of Kosciusko County weren’t capable of handling the new fire station, taking the business outside our county.
I’m probably wrong to say this, but I thought our No. 1 reason was to promote Kosciusko County. I guess I?was wrong.
