Elmer W. Steele, 41, recently was sentenced in Kosciusko Circuit Court to six years in prison for dealing in methamphetamine in an amount less than three grams, a Class B felony.
He will receive credit for time served and good time credit totaling four days.
He was ordered to pay a $100 fine, a $200 drug interdiction fee and court costs. Pending good behavior, the sentence is suspended and he is placed on probation. As part of that probation, he was ordered to pay a $100 initial, $100 administrative and $25 monthly probation users fees.
He also must pay the costs of his court-appointed attorney and remain in residential treatment and the "Pilot House" until approved for release by his probation officer.
Meth Charge Sends Blankenship To Prison
Mark Edward Blankenship, 40, recently was sentenced in Kosciusko Circuit Court to eight years in prison for dealing in methamphetamine in an amount less than three grams, a Class B felony.
He will receive credit for time served and good time credit totaling 332 days.
He was ordered to pay a $100 fine, $200 drug interdiction fee and court costs.
Salyer Sentenced For Precursors
Stanley Gordon Salyer, 35, recently was sentenced in Kosciusko Circuit Court to three years in prison for possession of two or more chemical reagents or precursors with intent to manufacture a controlled substance, a Class D felony. The charge is a lesser included offense of possession of two or more chemical reagents or precursors with intent to manufacture a controlled substance while in possession of a firearm, a Class C felony.
He will receive credit for time served and good time credit totaling 276 days.
He was ordered to pay a $100 fine, a $200 drug interdiction fee and court costs. Pending good behavior, the sentence is suspended and he will be placed on probation.
As part of his probation, he must pay a $100 initial, $100 administrative and $25 monthly probation users fees.
He also must pay his court-appointed attorney and is subject to random drug testing.
Patches Sent To Prison
Thomas Eugene Patches, 55, recently was sentenced in Kosciusko Circuit Court to 10 years in prison for child molesting, a Class B felony.
He will receive credit for time served and good time credit totaling 212 days.
He was ordered to pay a $100 fine, court costs, a $100 child abuse prevention fee and a $250 sexual assault victims assistance fee.
Upon his release from the Indiana Department if corrections, he must register as a sex offender.
Brooks To Spend 18 Months In Jail
Sherry Lynn Brooks, 47, recently was sentenced in Kosciusko Circuit Court to 18 months in jail for possession of precursors, a Class D felony.
She will receive credit for time served and good time credit totaling 36 days.
She was ordered to pay a $100 fine, $200 drug interdiction fee and court costs.
Cunningham Gets Suspended Sentence
Chad Cunningham, 25, recently was sentenced in Kosciusko Circuit Court to 10 years in prison for dealing in methamphetamine in an amount less than three grams, a Class B felony.
He will receive credit for time served and good time credit totaling two days.
He was ordered to pay court costs, a $100 fine and a $200 drug interdiction fee.
Pending good behavior, the sentence will be suspended and he will be placed on probation. As part of that probation, he was ordered to pay a $100 initial, $100 adminstrative and $25 monthly probation users fees.
He is subject to random drug testing, and he must pay his court-appointed attorney.
He also was ordered to reside at Serenity House until he completes the program or is terminated from the program.
Holbrook Sentenced For Meth Charge
Richard L. Holbrook, 35, recently was sentenced in Kosciusko Circuit Court to 1-1/2 years in jail for possession of methamphetamine, a Class D felony, as a lesser included offense of possession of methamphetamine within 1,000 feet of a school, a Class C felony.
He will recceive credit for time served and good time credit totaling 276 days.
He was ordered to pay a $100 fine, court costs and a $200 drug interdiction fee.
Byrd To Spend Year In Jail
Wesley Byrd, 33, recently was sentenced in Kosciusko Circuit Court to one year in jail for possession of a controlled substance, a Class D felony.
He will receive credit for time served and good time credit totaling four days.
He was ordered to pay court costs, a $200 drug interdiction fee and a $100 fine.
Robbery, Burglary Charges Net Prison Sentence For Coleman
Bradley Robert Coleman, 26, recently was sentenced in Kosciusko Circuit Court to 15 years in prison for robbery with a deadly weapon, a Class B felony; 15 years in prison for burglary, a Class B felony; and eight years in prison for robbery, a Class C felony.
He will receive credit for time served and good time credit totaling 192 days.
The sentence for the burglary charge and the second robbery charge will run concurrently with each other, but consecutive to the first robbery count.
He was ordered to pay a $100 fine and court costs.
As part of a plea agreement, a habitual offender enhancement will be dismissed.
