Miller Incarcerated For Meth Charge

Deanna Lynn Miller, 30, recently was sentenced in Kosciusko Circuit Court to one year in jail for possession of methamphetamine, a Class D felony.

She will receive credit for time served and good time credit totaling two days.

She was ordered to pay a $100 fine, court costs and a $200 drug interdiction fee.

Tipton To Serve One Year In Jail

Oscar William Tipton, 36, recently was sentenced in Kosciusko Circuit Court to one year in jail for possession of two or more chemical reagents or precursors with intent to manufacture a controlled substance, a Class D felony.

He will receive credit for time served and good time credit totaling six days.

He was ordered to pay a $100 fine, court costs, a $200 drug interdiction fee and restitution.

The term may be served in the Kosciusko County Work Release Program if he is accepted and qualifies.

Heaton Sentenced For Marijuana Charge

John Russell Heaton Jr., 31, recently was sentenced in Kosciusko Circuit Court to one year in jail for possession of marijuana with a prior conviction, a Class D felony.

He will receive credit for time served and good time credit totaling two days.

He was ordered to pay a $100 fine, court costs and a $200 drug interdiction fee.

Cole Sentenced For Meth Charge

Jennifer S. Cole, 32, recently was sentenced in Kosciusko Circuit Court to three years in jail for possession of methamphetamine, a Class D felony.

She will receive credit for time served and good time credit totaling 324 days. She was ordered to pay a $100 fine, court costs, and a $200 drug interdiction fee.

Any period exceeding 332 days of the sentence of imprisonment will be suspended pending good behavior and she will be placed on probation.

As part of that probation, she must pay a $100 initial, $100 administrative and $25 monthly probation users fees.

She also must attend and successfully complete a period of rehabilitation in Rose Home North.

She also was ordered to pay for her court-appointed attorney and is subject to random drug testing.

Burchett Sentenced For Meth Charge

Jessica Lee Burchett, 21, recently was sentenced in Kosciusko Circuit Court to three years in jail for possession of methamphetamine, a Class D felony, as a lesser included offense of possession of methamphetamine, a Class C felony.

She will receive credit for time served and good time credit totaling 268 days.

She was ordered to pay a $100 fine, court costs and a $200 drug interdiction fee.

Any period in excess of 268 days will be suspended and she will be placed on probation.

As part of that probation, she must pay a $100 initial, $100 administrative and $25 monthly probation users fees.

She also was ordered to successfully complete a nine-month period of rehabilitation at Serenity House Inc., of Auburn.

She will be subject to random drug testing and was ordered to pay the fees for her court-appointed attorney.

Meth Charge Nets 10-Year Sentence For Hackworth

Anthony Joseph Hackworth, 23, recently was sentenced in Kosciusko Circuit Court to 10 years in prison for dealing in methamphetamine in an amount less than three grams, a Class B felony.

He will receive credit for time served and good time credit totaling 286 days.

He was ordered to pay a $100 fine, court costs and a $200 drug interdiction fee.

The final three years of the sentence will be suspended pending good behavior and he will be placed on probation.

As part of that probation, he must pay a $100 administrative, $100 initial and $25 monthly probation users fees.

He will be subject to random drug testing and was ordered to pay his court-appointed attorney fees.

Carver Sentenced

Sean Robert Carver, 36, recently was sentenced in Kosciusko Circuit Court to six years in prison for manufacturing methamphetamine, a Class B felony.

He will receive credit for time served and good time credit totaling 282 days.

He was ordered to pay a $100 fine, court costs and a $200 drug interdiction fee.

The final two years of the sentence will be suspended pending good behavior and he will be place on probation.

As part of that probation, he must pay a $100 initial, $100 administrative and $25 monthly probation users fees.

He also is subject to random drug testing and must pay his court-appointed attorney.
