Troy Lee Beeks, 35, recently was sentenced in Kosciusko Circuit Court to six years in prison for dealing methamphetamine in an amount less than three grams, a Class B felony. He will receive credit for time served and good time credit totaling 490 days.
He was ordered to pay a $100 fine, a $200 drug interdiction fee and court costs.
The final 4-1/2 years of the sentence will be suspended and he will be placed on probation pending good behavior.
As part of his probation, he must pay a $100 initial, $100 administrative and $25 monthly probation user's fees. He also will be subject to random drug testing, and he was ordered to pay his court-appointed attorney.
He also must enroll in, pay for and complete a substance abuse program at the Bowen Center.
Lewallen To Spend Year In Jail
Stuart Lee Lewallen, 47, recently was sentenced in Kosciusko Circuit Court to one year in jail for possession of methamphetamine, a Class D felony. He will receive credit for time served and good time credit totaling 296 days.
He was ordered to pay a $100 fine, court costs and a $200 drug interdiction fee.
Springer Sentenced For Possession Of Controlled Substance
Zachary Springer, 21, recently was sentenced in Kosciusko Circuit Court to one year in prison for possession of a controlled substance, a Class D felony. He will receive credit for time served and good time credit totaling two days.
He was ordered to pay a $100 fine, court costs and a $200 drug interdiction fee.
Twiggs Gets Prison Time For Sexual Misconduct With A Minor
Ronald Lee Twiggs, 60, recently was sentenced in Kosciusko Circuit Court to four years in prison for sexual misconduct with a minor, a Class C felony. He will receive credit for time served and good time credit totaling two days.
He was ordered to pay a $100 fine and court costs. Pending good behavior, the sentence is suspended and he will be placed on probation.
As part of his probation, he must pay a $100 initial, $100 administrative and $25 monthly probation user's fees.
He also must follow the standard terms for sex offenders.
Meth Charge Nets Elder 1-1/2 Years
Chase Allen Elder, 25, recently was sentenced in Kosciusko Circuit Court to 1-1/2 years in prison for possession of methamphetamine, a Class D felony. He will receive credit for time served and good time credit totaling eight days.
He was ordered to pay a $100 fine, court costs and a $200 drug interdiction fee.
Gerberin Gets Six-Year Sentence
John Thomas Gerberin, 42, recently was sentenced in Kosciusko Circuit Court to six years in prison for dealing in methamphetamine in an amount less than three grams, a Class B felony. He will receive credit for time served and good time credit totaling 148 days.
He was ordered to pay a $100 fine, court costs and a $200 drug interdiction fee.
Laughlin Gets Suspended Sentence
Leann Janelle Laughlin, 42, recently was sentenced in Kosciusko Circuit Court to six years in prison for dealing in methamphetamine in an amount less than three grams, a Class B felony. She will receove credit for time served and good time credit totaling 34 days.
She was ordered to pay a $100 fine, court costs and a $200 drug interdiction fee.
Pending good behavior, she will be placed on probation for the final four years of the sentence. As part of her probation, she must pay a $100 initial, $100 administrative and $25 monthly probation user's fees.
She also is subject to random drug testing and must pay her court-appointed attorney.
