Hilary Hamman's second-grade class at Pierceton Elementary School recently learned about life cycles and the interdependence of life in science. They talked about the seeds of a sunflower and how plants continue on through their seeds while reading the book 'This is the Sunflower' by Lola Schaefer. They also learned that plants provide food for other living things. Pictured is Colten King sharing a sunflower with the class.
