Holcomb To Present Message
MENTONE – Mentone United Methodist Church invites the community to join them for worship on Sunday at 10:15 a.m. Guest speaker Barb Holcomb will present the message “If Paul was here, we’d get a letter.”
On Monday at 6 p.m., the building and grounds committee will meet.
MUMC Friends breakfast is on Tuesday at 8:30 a.m. at Egg Town Coffee.
Women’s Bible study begins on Tuesday at 4:30 p.m.
Feast & Fellowship is on Wednesdays at 6 p.m. Join them for a light meal, fellowship, singing, informal worship and teaching. Feast & Fellowship follows the Tippecanoe Valley School Corporation calendar.

To Hold Worship
AKRON – There's a communitywide men's Bible study group meeting on Saturday mornings at Egg Town Coffee in Mentone. Men from several area churches are participating and all are welcome. Breakfast is at 8 a.m. and the study starts at 9 a.m.
On Saturday, the Clay Pigeon Shoot is at the Harold's family range at 1:30 p.m.
On Sunday, worship at Beaver Dam Community Church, 9798 W. CR 1000S, Akron, at 9 a.m. or 10:31 a.m. with coffee and refreshments served from 10 to 10:30 a.m. There will be a church picnic after second service.
On Wednesday, the King's Kids program is from 6 to 7:30 p.m. with supper at 6 p.m. It is open to potty-trained 3-year-old through fifth grade.
On Oct. 9 and 10, the Wheels on Fire food booth is at the Echoes of the Past Fall Festival in Claypool.
Bible Burket To Hold Service
BURKET – Burket Bible Church welcomes everyone to its services. Sunday school starts at 9 a.m. and worship is at 10:15 a.m. The message this week by Pastor Mark Eastway is "God's Life-Giving Spirit" from Ezekiel 37:1-14.
There is a men's community Bible study each Saturday at Egg Town Coffee in Mentone. Breakfast is at 8 a.m. and study starts at 9 a.m. The women's Bible study meets the second and fourth Saturdays at 9 a.m. at Egg Town Coffee.
Praise practice is Tuesday at 4 p.m. Lifewise classes at Burket Bible Church is on Tuesdays at 10:30 a.m. The Burket Bible ladies will have a bake sale at the church on Saturday, at the same time of the Burket Fire Department fish fry.

Thursday the first day of October, you will see the children on their walk to Claypool UMC for SPARC; they love the music, food, crafts, stories and games.
Every Sunday they have Bible studies for all ages starting at 9:30 a.m. The worship hour starts at 10:30 a.m. Sunday. Pastor Diane Quance will continue her series on prayer. Her sermon will help us find the unexpected benefit of praying regularly. They will sing, pray and gather at the Lord‘s table for communion. The children have kids chat before going to youth church during the sermon.
The Women of Faith will meet in the church parking lot on Tuesday then carpool to Ann Gerber‘s home in New Haven.
The devotional group will meet on Wednesday at 4:30 p.m. Praise team will have practice at 5:30 p.m.
Plans are underway for fall fun festival to be held Oct. 24 and the holiday harvest meal on Nov. 6.

God’s Highway To Hold Breakfast
God’s Highway To Heaven Church, 555 Webber St., Warsaw, will hold an all-you-eat breakfast from 8 to 11 a.m.
The menu is biscuits and gravy, different kinds of bologna and sausage, bacon, sausage patties, taters, eggs, apples, coffee, orange juice and white and chocolate milk.
Cost for those 10 and older is $10. Cost for those aged 3 to 9 is $4 and those 2 and under are free.
Aldersgate UMC To Hold Block Party, Movie Night Saturday
ATWOOD – Aldersgate United Methodist Church invites all to their free block party and movie night this Saturday.
They'll kick things off at 5:30 p.m. at the nearby and newly renovated Atwood Community Park (across from the church and behind the Atwood Community Building) where there will be free food, games, music, fellowship and fun. A little later on the church fellowship hall will be opened up to show a free movie. Come on out and bring your family and friends.
