Beaver Dam Community Church
To Hold Lakeside Worship
AKRON – There's a communitywide men's Bible study group meeting on Saturday mornings at Egg Town Coffee (formerly Java Jacks) in Mentone. Men from several area churches are participating and all are welcome. Breakfast is at 8 a.m. and the study starts at 9 a.m.
On Sunday, worship at Beaver Dam Community Church, 9798 W. 1000S, Akron, is at 8 a.m. at Beaver Dam Lake boat launch (if raining, cancelation will be made by 7:30 a.m.) or at 9:30 a.m. at the church with coffee refreshments served from 9 to 9:30 a.m.

Miller To Present Message
MENTONE – The community is invited to Mentone United Methodist Church on Sunday for worship at 10:15 a.m. Pastor Dana Miller will begin the sermon series: “The Gospel and Human Dignity” and present the message “Pentecost in Philemon.” The scripture reading is Philemon 1:8-16.
Mark your calendars for the free-will donation yard sale May 28 and 29 from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m., during the Egg Festival, in front of the church. Proceeds to the Leininger family and vacation Bible school.
Join them for a gospel sing during the Egg Festival May 30 at 2:30 p.m. at the Mentone Fire Station.
Feast & Fellowship is on hiatus for the summer.
All are welcome at Mentone United Methodist Church. They offer an early bird adult Sunday school class at 9 a.m. before worship service at 10:15 a.m. They are at 116 E. Main St., Mentone. Burket Bible To
Hold Services
BURKET – Burket Bible Church welcomes everyone to its services. Sunday school starts at 9 a.m. and worship is at 10:15 a.m. The message this week by Pastor Mark Eastway is "Kingdoms Collide" from Philippians 3:17-21.
There is a men's community Bible study each Saturday at Egg Town Coffee in Mentone. Breakfast is at 8 a.m. and study starts at 9 a.m. The women's Bible study will meet Saturday at 9 a.m. at Egg Town Coffee.
Praise practice is Tuesday at 4 p.m. Friday is their Nelson's Chicken and Chop BBQ sale at the Big Egg in Mentone from noon until 6 p.m. All proceeds go to missions.

Claypool UMC To
Celebrate Pentecost
Today, SPARC will meet at 4 p.m. in the Fellowship Hall. They will learn how each one of them are a part of the body of Christ. They will make items to help the church celebrate its birthday. The kids that have attended SPARC will be living their motto “Seeking Purpose and Reflecting Christ” during summer vacation.
Friday will be the last time the church will supply weekend backpacks for the 2025-26 school year due to summer vacation.
On Sunday, the church will celebrate Pentecost. Pastor Diane Quance will share from 1 Corinthians 12:12- 27 “The Birth of the Church.” If you’re unable to be with them, you can watch on Facebook at Claypool UMC, Indiana.
Join the church as they honor fallen soldiers this Memorial Day weekend with a prayer of gratitude.
The AGITAS group will conduct a soccer training camp at the church starting May 26-29. Check the church, Facebook or website for more details.
The Women of Faith plan to meet at the church on June 2 at 10 a.m. Offering is items for the food pantries.
On June 15-17, the kids can join a Safari in the jungle to learn “WHERE FAITH GROWS WILD.” The adventure will be from 10 a.m. until noon. There will be a light lunch served. Registration can be done on Facebook at Claypool lUMC, Indiana or call Jennifer at 574-377-2142.
The devotional group would love to have you join them on Wednesday at 4:30 p.m.
Practice for the praise team is held at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday.

Banning Adds Message On Worship
ATWOOD – Atwood Otterbein Church Pastor David Banning added a second message on worship. He taught true worship starts in and transforms the heart of the worshipper.
This summer’s vacation Bible school will take place at and in partnership with the Leesburg Methodist Church July 19-23 from 6 to 8 p.m.

Community Bible Announces Services
Community Bible Church, 2947 S. County Farm Road, Warsaw, announced services for the coming week.
Sunday services start with Sunday school at 9 a.m. Larry Overstreet continues his series on the Book of Proverbs.
Worship services are at 10:15 a.m. and 6 p.m. Pastor Joe Lloyd will continue his series on the Book of Mark.
On Wednesday, there is a midweek service of praise, prayer and Bible study starts at 6 p.m., led by Dave Mitchell. On May 31, the evening service will be a time of praise and testimonies.
