SPARC To Meet Today
CLAYPOOL – The SPARCs will learn about God‘s amazing creation today. They will enjoy a healthy snack and learn to praise with music and prayer.
On Sunday, Claypool United Methodist Church hopes to see you for Bible study at 9:30 a.m. or fellowship at 10:10 a.m. Pastor Diane Quance starts her series “Lord I Believe.” They will pray for joys and concerns and singing praises.
The children have junior church during the sermon. Worship hour will be viewed live on Facebook at Claypool UMC, Indiana.
Monday is the deadline to register for the Lay Servant Academy, which will be held at Claypool UMC on May 2 and May 9. Registration is available on Facebook at Claypool UMC, Indiana.
Wednesday at 4:30 p.m., the devotional group will meet. The praise team will practice at 5:30 p.m.
Planning is underway for vacation Bible school to be held June 15-17.
Miller To Present Message
MENTONE – The community is invited to Mentone United Methodist Church on Sunday for worship at 10:15 a.m. Pastor Dana Miller will present the message “Spiritual Apathy.” The scripture reading is Haggai 1:7-11.
All men are welcome to the Tuesday men’s Bible study beginning at 5:30 p.m.
Feast & Fellowship is on Wednesdays from 6 to 7:30 p.m. A casual light meal is provided along with fellowship, music, study and fun. Feast & Fellowship follows the Tippecanoe Valley School Corporation calendar.
All are welcome at Mentone United Methodist Church. They offer an early bird adult Sunday school class at 9 a.m. before worship service at 10:15 a.m. They are at 116 E. Main St., Mentone.

To Hold Events This Week
AKRON – There's a communitywide men's Bible study group meeting on Saturday mornings at Egg Town Coffee (formerly Java Jacks) in Mentone. Men from several area churches are participating and all are welcome. Breakfast is at 8 a.m. and the study starts at 9 a.m.
Sunday is April birthday recognition. Worship at Beaver Dam Community Church, 9798 W. CR 1000S, Akron, is at 9 a.m. or 10:31 a.m. with coffee refreshments served from 10 to 10:30.
On April 30, ventriloquist Brent Vernon will perform at 6 p.m.
On May 2, Wheels on Fire Clay's for Cancer fundraiser at the Fulton County Gun Club begins at 10 a.m.
Burket To Hold Services
BURKET – Burket Bible Church welcomes everyone to its services. Sunday school starts at 9 a.m. and worship is at 10:15 a.m. The message this week by Pastor Mark Eastway is "Eating is Believing" from John 6:53-60. The focus is Jesus tested the faith of his listeners when he used literal words to express spiritual truths. Eastway will provide music.
There is a men's community Bible study each Saturday at Egg Town Coffee in Mentone. Breakfast is at 8 a.m. and study starts at 9 a.m. The women's Bible study will meet Saturday at 9 a.m. at Egg Town Coffee.
Burket Lifewise classes are Tuesdays at 10:30 a.m. Praise practice is Tuesday at 4 p.m.
God’s Highway To Hold Benefit
God’s Highway to Heaven Church, 555 Webber St., Warsaw, will hold a benefit for Seana Yost from 2 to 5 p.m. Saturday.
Yost is 31 and diagnoses with CIC-DUX4 Sarcoma, stage 4. She has two girls. The benefit is to help raise funds to pay medical bills and living expenses as Yost battles cancer and takes care of her daughters.

Community Bible Church, 2947 S. Country Farm Road, Warsaw, announced their services.
Sunday school is at 9 a.m. and worship services at 10:15 a.m. and 6 p.m. Pastor Joe Lloyd leads all three services. Lloyd continues his study in the Book of Mark.
